Archetypal quality and the interest of these plates are in the graphic work of a dozen designers and graphic artists have led to this collection being created. We have chosen to produce a plate of pre-existing design and to solely consider the graphics applied to the surface, which in itself is naturally an act of design. Dylan Martorell is an artist and musician based in Melbourne, Australia. Working in a variety of mediums from print and photography to costume, performance and sound art his work inhabits a self contained universe of fourth world arte povre, $ 2 shop ethno exotica and stream of unconsciousness minimalism.
