Archetypal quality and the interest of these plates are in the graphic work of a dozen designers and graphic artists have led to this collection being created. We have chosen to produce a plate of pre-existing design and to solely consider the graphics applied to the surface, which in itself is naturally an act of design. Designers for the collection, Antoine + Manuel, matali crasset, eBoy, Geneviève Gauckler, Ich & Kar, Jeremyville, Maison Georgette, Dylan Martorell, Pierre Marie, Rolito, Kustaa Saksi, Studio Job, Tania & Vincent, Tado, Inga Sempé.
(Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel) is known for their rebellious, scale-less way of creating an own universe. The objects are often based on personal fascinations varying from unique pieces, editions, installations, interiors and assignments for public space. The way Studio Job is walking a tightrope between design and art gave the work an autonomous position in international design. More than ones Studio Job created a fresh discussion within on the existing norms of the contemporary field.
